There's a time for sowing, and then there's a time for listening...

For full transparency I am not a farmer, though I enjoy the fruits of others' labor on a daily basis. However, I came from a line of farmers. I remember listening in on their radio shows where the Co-Op would list the latest news and prices, and would watch them smile or sigh. And it's no different 40 years ago than it is now. The only differentiating factor is technology and The Modern Acre podcast. Checked out some episodes already and found a wealth of info. I'm not going into farming, but listening gives a great appreciation for the America Heartland...and you, the farmer.
